  • If the child is travelling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
  • Death Certificate: in case one or both parents are deceased

6. If Visiting friend or relative

  • Invitation letter: stating the relationship with the inviter and purpose of visiting the country & assuring the responsibility for housing and related expenses during the guest's stay in Algeria
  • ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit

7. If Sponsored

  • Sponsorship Letter: providing the name of the visitors, what the purpose of the visit is, relationship with the visitors, length of stay, dates of travel & any other additional information if necessary

8. For Business Visa

Introduction/ recommendation letter from:

    • One of the Chambers of Commerce and Industries, government of India;
    • Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India;
    • Export Promotion Council of India; or Reference number from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan.

Registration certificate of the company from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India:

  • Income tax documents of the last three years;
  • Letter from the company addressed to the embassy, introducing the business man for visa issuance;
  • Invitation letter from the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan;
  • Copy of the license (JAWAZ) of the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan.

  • Yes.Indian citizens are required to obtain a visa prior to entering the Republic of Malawi.Visas may be obtained from the Embassy or Consulate of Malawi in India. Based on the purpose of your visit to Malawi you may apply for a Business Visa, Tourist Visa, Visit Visa, Official Visa, Diplomatic Visa, Student/Research Visa, Transit Visa, Crew Visa& many more.   • The visa can be issued for a single entry, multiple entry and transit entry depending on the nature of the visit.
  • The single entry visa is valid for three months and can be used once upon entry into Malawi.If you are planning to stay only in Malawi, this is the best option for you.
  • The multiple entry visas are valid for six or twelve months and can be used for multiple entries within the validity period.If you are planning to leave Malawi and come back during your trip, for example to Zambia, this option might interest you. The transit visa is valid for a period not exceeding seven days and can be used once.
    The Malawi visa fee are as follows:
  • Single Entry Visa – INR 11,499/-
  • Multiple Entry Visa (6 months) – INR 18,699/-
  • Multiple Entry Visa (12 months) – INR 22,499/- Transit Visa – INR 6599/-

The earliest date to apply for a Malawi visa is one months before the date of travel to the country.In order to allow for adequate time for visa processing, it is advisable that all visa applications are submitted one week, prior to travelling.

This visa is valid for 30 days

  • This visa is valid for 30 days and you can extend it up to 60 days more for a total of 90 days maximum. It will cost you 5000 Malawi kwacha (MWK) to extend your visa for 30 days and 10000MWK for 60 days.

  • Yes, the Embassy will stamp the visa in the original passport. Therefore, two blank pages are required in the passport. Your passport should also be valid for minimum six months beyond the intended stay.

  • Visa application is normally processed within 3 to 4 working days.
