1. If Employed:

  • Birth Certificate showing the names of both parents
  • Legalized Letter of Consent (NOC)
  • If the child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent authorizing travel must be legalized by the other parent
  • If the child is travelling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
  • Death Certificate: in case one or both parents are deceased
  • ID Proof: of parents

6. If Visiting friend or relative

  • Invitation letter: stating the relationship with the inviter and purpose of visiting the country & assuring the responsibility for housing and related expenses during the guest's stay in Algeria
  • ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit
  • Address Proof of Inviter: Utility bill

7. If Sponsored

  • Sponsorship Letter: providing the name of the visitors, what the purpose of the visit is, relationship with the visitors, length of stay, dates of travel & any other additional information if necessary

8. For Business Visa

Introduction/ recommendation letter from:

    • One of the Chambers of Commerce and Industries, government of India;
    • Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India;
    • Export Promotion Council of India; or Reference number from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan.

Registration certificate of the company from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India:

  • Income tax documents of the last three years;
  • Letter from the company addressed to the embassy, introducing the business man for visa issuance;
  • Invitation letter from the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan;
  • Copy of the license (JAWAZ) of the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan.
  • *Note: The Embassy/Consul General has the right to ask for additional information or documents and request a personal interview with the applicant.

 

FAQs Rergarding Laos Visa

Indian nationals do not need to apply for a Laosvisa in advance. They can get a visa upon arrival in Laos provided they have the valid travel documents. Laos Visa on arrival is issued for 30 days. All visitors must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the time of entry into Laos.

Laos visa is available is available to visitors flying into the below airports:

  • Wattay International Airport in Vientiane Capital.
  • Luang Prabang International Airport in Luang Prabang Province.
  • Pakse Internatioanl Airport in Champasack Province.
  • Savannakhet International Airport in Savannakhet Province

Travellers must meet the following criteria:

  • Passport valid for a least 6 months from your date of entry and with two blank pages within
  • Return ticket to your country

  • Have enough funds to cover the expenses for duration of the stay inLaos

Yes. Visa extensions are fairly easy to obtain and the maximum length of extension is fifteen days. You need to visit the immigration office on Hatsady Road in Vientiane before your visa expires. Here, visa extensions are issued at the cost of approx. $2 per day.

Indians are not liable to face a rejection. However, the above said documents are necessary to enter the country. Failure to produce any of the documents may result into rejection of your visa, thereby barring you from entering the country. The final decision to grant an entry permit is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officials at Laos airport.

Usually, it takes around 20 minutes to get all formalities done and get the visa on arrival. However, the time may vary depending on the peak travel period.

    After landing at Laos airport, kindly head to the Immigration counter. The immigration authorities will most likely ask basic questions such as the reason for travel, duration of stay and collect the visa fee payment in cash. Overall, it takes about 15-20 minutes to issue avisa. The whole method is hassle-free and easy
